The RGD roll top 30 liter waterproof backpack is designed for use as a camping, survival, tactical or bug out pack. The simplistic roll top design keeps gear and belongings dry without worry of any failing zipper components. The fully waterproof primary pack is constructed of 500D PVC. The external accessory molle bags are made of water resistant nylon. The RGD roll top waterproof backpack (excluding accessory bags) is backed by a lifetime warranty against defect.

I just noticed while doing my initial “load up” of this that while the main component of this system is waterproof, the accessory (molle) pouches are not - they have zippered closures on the top as they’re positioned upon arrival. They also do not have drain holes opposite the zippers, which could lead to the pouches filling during severe weather.
I’ll flip them so that the zippers face down instead, although that’s not 100% ideal either. Not a deal killer by any means, just an update.
I’m “building” a universal bug out/hiking/camping kit and started with the bag itself. It appears to be great quality, exactly as advertised. I chose this one because the main compartment is zipperless and waterproof.

Ive had this bag for about a month so far in some really harsh conditions. Used for my work, and recrational gear It is with me 12 hours a day outside, in rain or shine. This bag is the absolute best bag ive had! It keeps my gear dry, and dust proof. It is exposed to sunlight, extreme dust, mud, and running water, and rain. It never fails! I am blown away by its reliablity and durabilty. You can vary the size by rolling the top down, or just folding it over if extra room is needed. This bag beats any other pack ive tried and I will always have one from this point on. Well worth the money! There are 3 small things I have noticed that would be considered cons. 1, in extreme cold the bag feels kind of crunchy when folded. Feels nice and soft when its warm. 2, I feel it needs an overmold rubber bottom for durability. No issues with it so far on hard rocks or comcrete. And 3, I wish it had a velcro spot for flags or patches. BUT DO NOT LET THIS CHANGE YOUR MIND! This bag is near perfect and I absolutely love it! Btw the people that make it are top knotch. Call them and find out for yourself! Keep up the great gear Jeff!
